The free clinics held each month in Reno and Las Vegas provide patients and caregivers with a multi-disciplinary medical team, including a neurologist, respiratory therapist, occupational therapist, speech language pathologist, dietitian, social worker, and a representative from ALS of Nevada. All Nevada patients are eligible to attend and are scheduled every 3-6 months depending on their rate of progression.
The entire team is available during the clinic and is able to solve many treatment problems as the disease progresses and the patient’s needs change.
