All ALS of Nevada events help fund services for ALS patients, their families and caregivers. The STEVE RIGAZIO MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT is held in Las Vegas each May. The golf tournament is named for former Nevada Power (now NV Energy) President Steve Rigazio, who died at 47 years of age on Dec. 27, 2001 from complications of ALS. This year the golf tournament is being held at Cascata Golf Club. It is open to the public.

HAWS BRUCE WHITE MEMORIAL GOLF TOURNAMENT – RENO
This tournament is held in August in honor of Bruce White, an ALS patient in Northern Nevada. In 2012 the tournament is being held at Lakeridge Golf Course.
WALK N’ ROLL/5K RUN – LAS VEGAS
WALK N’ ROLL – RENO
Walk n’ Roll/5K Run-Las Vegas takes place in Police Memorial Parks and the Walk n’ Roll-Reno at the Sparks Marina in Sparks. Both events take place in the fall and are open to the public. Walkers can create a team to build a total donation. Awards are given in all age groups for the 5K winners.
HOLIDAY ART WREATH FESTIVAL – LAS VEGAS
Holiday and specialty artistic wreaths are donated by local artists and featured in a Silent Auction; hospitality packages are presented in the Live Auction. The event includes gourmet appetizers, a hosted bar, live music and is open to the public. The event is held in November.
